I was born in 1972 at a convent in a small town in South Africa; studied Political Science and obtained my Masters Degree in 1995. I started to draw abstract charcoal drawings when my first daughter, Marline, was born in 1997. With the birth of my second daughter, Lisa-Beth, in 1999 I almost totally lost interest in my drawings but after my mother's death in 2003 it became a prominent part of both my daughters and mine: something I would like to make a lasting impression.
